Automation Orchestration
A single system for directing both an automated fleet and material handlers
Direct every move on the floor, automated or not.
Cella directs AGVs, AMRs and material handlers from one configurable set of rules and one live view of inventory, so an automated fleet runs on the same warehouse logic as the people working beside it.
How Cella works with fleet controllers
Direct any fleet through its own controller
Cella connects at the fleet controller rather than at the individual robot, so the units underneath can be any AGV or AMR with a modern API.
Assign work to robots and people from the same set of rules
Cella routes each task to the resource group that fits, following rules built around your zones, skills and current workload.
Automatically switch between the fleet and material handlers
Firmware updates, scanner faults and repairs take units out of service. Cella reassigns that work to your material handlers, who pick it up in the same system, minimizing downtime.

Robotics Orchestration | FAQs
Does Cella replace our fleet controller?
No. The fleet controller keeps navigating each unit through the building. Cella sits above it and decides which moves need to happen, in what order and why.
What hardware does Cella work with?
It is hardware agnostic. The requirement is a fleet controller with a modern API that can exchange calls in both directions.
Do we have to automate the whole operation to get value from this?
What happens when a unit goes down or needs a firmware update?
The tasks headed to that unit either hold or move to a human resource group. Your material handlers keep the line fed while the fleet is out of service.
How does an automated move reach Plex?
Cella writes the completed move back the moment it finishes and updates Plex in real time.
Run the fleet and the floor on one system.
